My Actifit Report Card: August 28 2022

The ability to move freely is made possible by the joints, which are an essential component of the musculoskeletal system of the human body.

Nevertheless, occasionally, and for a variety of reasons, the joints may become stiff, making it difficult to move them.

There are a number of potential causes of joint stiffness, but here's an improbable one that you haven't considered before: the pattern in which you sleep.

The positions that people sleep in during the night can frequently play a role in the development of joint stiffness.

If a person does not sleep in a way that keeps their neck in a neutral position and aligns their spine, they may wake up feeling stiff or achy. This can be avoided by sleeping in a position that aligns their spine.

People who sleep on their sides should try to avoid lying on a particular side if it is already feeling stiff. This is especially important for those who sleep on their stomachs. A good night's rest and less joint stiffness can be achieved by maintaining the body in the proper sleeping position throughout the night by using a variety of pillows around the body.
