Legends of the bars 2025" en el centro comercial Las Américas, Maracay, Estado Aragua, se realizó el pasado 18 de octubre. Esta es una competencia que se realiza una vez cada año, con el fin de reunir a los mejores atletas del país para demostrar su nivel en las barras. Yo no competí por factor de mi nivel, aún no estoy al nivel de los atletas. Había tres categorías: Semi-profesional, profesional y femenina.
A warm greeting to the entire Hive and Street Workout community! I hope you are all doing well, everyone. Today I will share with you my experience as a spectator at the national championship ‘Legends of the Bars 2025’ at the Las Américas shopping centre in Maracay, Aragua State, which took place on 18 October. This is a competition that takes place once a year, with the aim of bringing together the best athletes in the country to demonstrate their skill on the bars. I did not compete due to my level; I am not yet at the level of the athletes. There were three categories: semi-professional, professional and women's.

Ese día llegué algo tarde, apenas estaba saliendo de la neumonía que tenía, por lo tanto, descansé un poco más antes de salir al centro comercial. Alrededor de las 2 pm me comunicó con mi amigo @abrahamjsr para ir saliendo al centro comercial. Llegamos alrededor de las 3 pm si no mal recuerdo. Pero llegamos a tiempo para ver un poco de la categoría semi-profesional, me impresionó la cantidad de atletas que tenían giros 720 y 900. Son supertrucos que no todo el mundo se atreve a desbloquearlo, ya sea por miedo o que no le gusta practicar dinámicos.
That day I arrived a little late, as I was just getting over pneumonia, so I rested a little longer before heading to the shopping centre. Around 2 p.m., I contacted my friend @abrahamjsr to go to the shopping centre. We arrived around 3 p.m., if I remember correctly. But we arrived in time to see a bit of the semi-professional category. I was impressed by the number of athletes who could do 720 and 900 spins. These are super tricks that not everyone dares to attempt, either out of fear or because they don't like practising dynamic moves.

Por otro lado, la categoría femenina sorprendió a que participaran varias chicas. Esto es lo que necesitamos en la comunidad: impulsar a las chicas a practicar el deporte, a crear esa disciplina como nosotros solemos tener. Porque esto es lo que falta más en mi país, más chicas que practiquen calistenia como pasa en Europa.
On the other hand, the women's category surprised us with the participation of several girls. This is what we need in the community: to encourage girls to practise sport, to create that discipline that we usually have. Because this is what is most lacking in my country, more girls practising calisthenics as happens in Europe.

La categoría profesional tuvo un gran nivel competitivo, había atletas ya conocidos como Jesús Rangel, Héctor, Jesús Montes de Oca y el mejor atleta en Venezuela, Alvis Orozco. Los versus de esta categoría fueron increíbles, espero poder competir para el año entrante y compartir mi experiencia como atleta.
The professional category was highly competitive, with well-known athletes such as Jesús Rangel, Héctor, Jesús Montes de Oca and Venezuela's best athlete, Alvis Orozco. The matches in this category were incredible. I hope to be able to compete next year and share my experience as an athlete.
