A signing is a signing. It doesn't matter whether it's a loan or buy.

Many Arsenal fans including me have been left stalking major football sites for a hint on the next Arsenal transfer. The team need players especially defenders. Unfortunately, the transfer activity has been slow. You only hear Arsenal are linked to, Arsenal 25m bid rejected.

As reported, Arsenal only have around 45m to spend. This mean that we have to be contented with loan deals and decent players.

The new guy when interviewed mentioned that

The loan deal of Dani Ceballos should have been confirmed since, but you should know Arsenal by now. The club love dragging transfers. Marco Asensio injury threatened the deal success as Real Madrid want to hold on to him. I am happy the deal later went through and Dani Ceballos will be wearing the Number 8 jersey for the coming season.

Welcome Dani. I hope you are not another Denis Suarez, Viviano or Kallstrom.

Transfer Targets

Arsenal still need more signings especially in the defense. The transfer deal of Tierney is taking too long. A deal should be sort out as soon as possible. That will atleast see Arsenal strengthen the left back position.

There is also Saliba that has been linked with the club. It looks like Arsenal will have to loan him back after the deal goes through. I believe this is a wrong move. We have one of the worst defense in the league and you still want to purchase someone only for you to loan back. You know injuries can come anytime and then you are exposed at the back. I hope he is not loaned back but stay with Arsenal and fight for his place in the first team. It will create a good competition for first team opportunities.

There is the possibility of Dani Alvez joining Arsenal on a free transfer. The Copa America triumph shoes that Dani Alvez is far from finished. He will bring experience to the backline. Unlike Lichsteiner who was unable to cement his place in the first team, I believe Dani Alvez will force his way into the right back position.

I believe Arsenal can conclude the transfers to get them set for the coming season.
