My Actifit Report Card: January 19 2020

Dear Steemians and great blockchain community!✋✋✋

I had an amazingly actifitting day out there!

I was preparing for a weeks to take on the challenge, namely to make it by walking from Lisbon to Sintra, the summer residence of the Portuguese royalty.

And we ( I went there with two friends of mine, the one was waiting already there, as decided to travel by train) nearly made it. 🤔

Yes the distance is about 25 km, if the countdown is at Marques de Pombal Square, i.e downtown Of the capital.

So we walked nearly all the way, but the last 4 km we took the train. But don't get me wrong, we were well physically prepared, but not prepared/expect to see soo many interesting places on the way that slowed us down and was the reason we made plenty of stops.

Next week will make a detailed post as I have collected various pics. For now will keep it short. Just few pics.

FYI:

Sintra is recognized as world heritage by UNESCO! Located next to Roca Cape, the westernmost point of Europe. There are many castles built in this amazing location with the most famous one is The Moorish castle, the Muslims, who reigned over Iberian peninsula few hundred years ago.
