My Actifit Report Card: October 15 2019

All my activity came from dancing today. First there was the dance class at Effinham that's every Tuesday morning. Then this evening we attended a dance at Patoka, which is held the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

The dance at Patoka, which is a small rural town of only 650 population, is held at the Community center. The building was originally a grade school and the dances are held in the former gymnasium. Those old wooden gym floors made excellent dance floors. On the wall is the original scoreboard and my mom remembers attending basketball games here when she was in grade school.

This scoreboard was made by the Nevco Scoreboard Co., which was located in another nearby small Illinois town called Greenville. I like places with history and hearing people talking about their memories.
