My Actifit Report Card: November 7 2019
Our hometown high school football team advances to round 2 of the conference playoffs. We'll host Mt. Carmel on Saturday afternoon. They have only suffered one defeat so far this season. Let's hope that our Vandals, undefeated so far, can hand them their next one!
It was another YMCA day today on the treadmill and another couple of chapters in my Audible book. I'm currently listening to Old Bones by Preston & Childs. I really like their books featuring FBI Special Agent Aloysius Pendergast (how's that for a central character's name!) but though he is mentioned in this book he doesn't play much of a role. It's not as good as most of the other Preston & Childs books I've read, but so far it hasn't put me to sleep. That would be a bad thing while walking on a treadmill! 😲
No basketball game details tonight, the Bulls won't play again until Saturday night. It'll be a war again playing against James Harden and the Houston Rockets. Harden is averaging 36 points a game and actually scored 59 points in a game this season against the Wizards. The Wizards magic wand must have been out of commission that night!
