Homemade Deep Dish Cauliflower Crust Pizza - My Actifit Report Card: November 15 2019
You CAN have pizza and not feel that you're eating a high-calorie low-nutrition junk food.
This is a deep-dish pizza so it's made in my cast iron skillet instead of a pizza pan!
The crust has 6 cups of riced cauliflower, 2 eggs, and only 1/4 cup of whole wheat flour. You can even use gluten-free flour instead. The sauce is organic sugar-free marinara sauce and I sauteed the onions, green peppers and turkey sausage in the marinara sauce before spreading it on the already baked crust. Then I added 4 oz of skim milk mozzarella cheese and popped it back in the oven for 3 minutes to melt. 2 slices is a serving and I was stuffed!
It was my Habitat for Humanity Resale Shop volunteer day and I decided to walk to work. It was cold but sunny with no wind so I enjoyed it. The store was very busy and I had to walk to the bank twice for change. So I ended up with a nice count by the time I walked back home.

Great count. I haven't tried this crust. I have been doing keto which is low carb. I willhave to try it.
