Kameny. / Stones.
Dnešní post je neplánované pokračování z minulé soboty. Bylo přijatelné počasí a tak jsem se vypravil prozkoumat další opuštěné kamenolomy. Potřeboval jsem totiž nějaké křemeny a slídu do orgonitů.
Today's post is an unplanned sequel from last Saturday. The weather was acceptable, so I went to explore other abandoned quarries. I needed some quartz and biotite with muscovite into orgonites.
Unfortunately, there are not many localities where we could find nice quartz crystals and so I had to do with fragments of horseradish vein, which I found in the last quarry visited.
From the same place is a pinkish variety of biotite. Due to weathering it is already weathered and separates well from the surrounding stone.
I am looking forward to summer and a visit to the region of my childhood. I know nice places where you can find mountain crystal, hesonite crystals or olivine pits.

Bohužel, v našem okolí není mnoho lokalit, kde by se daly nalézt pěkné krystaly křemene a tak mi musely stačit úlomky z křenenné žíly, kterou jsem našel v posledním z navštívených lomů.
Z toho samého místa je i narůžovělá odrůda biotitu. Díky povětrnostním vlivům je již zvětralá a dobře se odděluje od okolního kamene.
Už se těším na léto a návštěvu v kraji mého dětství. Znám tam pěkné lokality, kde se dá najít horský křišťál, krystaly hesonitu nebo pecičky olivínu.

:-). I have matches to make fire. Making fire with quartz and steel is very laborious.
I use quartz into a shape emitter called ORGONIT

I live on the edge of the forest, so I could say that I am still in nature :-)
Cool :): I am also trying to spend more time in nature during summer times.

Z mých kusých znalostí geologie je pro mě nejprospěšnější vědět, že mezi Znojmem a Ostravou se nachází hranice tektonických desek. Přičemž té na východě se také říká africká. Tudíž si můžu dělat z většiny Moraváků srandu, že jsou vlastně Afričané. Takže nemohou rozumět nám, Evropanům...
