Curtwriter's Walk, Work, Football, Music and Investment Talk Ep. 1

Yesterday was pretty cool as I met with a few cool headed customers. The truth is whenever I meet such people, I try to give them the very best of me. I usually endeavor to chat with them the much I can, crack jokes and make them smile and laugh if I can.

At the end of the day, you're happy and your customer leaves you a satisfied person, as well as with a greater level of confidence in your organization. Such a person can go on to become a "word-of- mouth" advertiser for your organization.

Coming back, the roads were pretty tight due to both their bad state and the heavy rains. Hopefully, we would gain some form of succour when the roads are finally completely worked on.

Football Talk: Wolves 1 - 1 Manchester United

Wolves played host to Manchester United yesterday, holding them to a 1-1 draw. Considering their whitewashing of Chelsea on their opening Premier League match, I consider this to be a very lacklustre performance.

The opening goal was scored by Anthony Martial in the 27th minute of the game only for the Wolves to send in a reply through Reuben Neves shortly after half time.

United's chance to take the lead came in the form of a penalty after Pogba was tripped in the box. Unfortunately, he failed to make the best out of it as his shot was saved by Wolves goalie.

For teams that want to go far in this season's EPL, I believe it is imperative of them to make utilize all their chances at this early stage, so as to hold top spot on the ladder and give others a big gap.

Song of the Day: King Monada - Chiwana

I came across a video that had some couple of students dancing to this song and I got thrilled by their dance steps as well as the song. I didn't know it and I needed to somehow get the song.

So I located my Shazam app and played the video snippet. I was directed to this song and I immediately went on Google to search for it. Downloaded it and ever since then, I have played it more than 15 times.

The lyrics are not quite understandable to me but I love the song because of it's beats. Yeah, may sound weird to you but I can listen to songs even if the artist is not saying another, just instruments. That's why I'm comfortable with the likes of Yanni, Enya and a host of others.

Investment Options

I've been looking at several investment options that would help meet my second stream of income sources budget. The truth is, being solely dependent on your monthly salary package is a recipe for disaster. First, it would limit greatly limit your opportunities to growth. It would also reduce your spending power.

I've always believed in Steem and the opportunities it brings to the table and that's why I made it my first point of call. So far, I've bought almost 4, 000 Steem and powered a part of it up.

The other part went to Steem-engine which I used to purchase some tokens and also power them up as well. Investments are usually long term for me and as such, I tend to go for those that are less risky. I'm still purchasing more as the opportunities present itself.

I was speaking to a colleague yesterday on the need to have a second stream of income. It was then that he opened up to me, intimating me about an investment he had made. He mentioned Forex and I nodded my head in disagreement. I was never going to be a part of such as I had a friend who had lost some pretty large bucks to Forex.

He however went ahead to explain it to me. There's an organization that trains people in Forex and also helps investors use their monies wisely by helping you trade with it for a period of six months. On a monthly basis, you go home with 15% of whatever you invested and at the end of the six months contract, you get back your initial capital.

I like the sound of that but I will need to do more research into the company before I can invest. So many people have had their fingers burnt by Forex and I wouldn't want my name added to the list.

That pretty sums it up for today on Walk, Work, Football, Music and Investment Talk. Hope you have a nice day today.
