My Actifit Report Card: February 4 2020

It was a day of wondering what the weather was going to bring. It was cold last night; below freezing and with wet roads, well you can guess the result of thatâŚâŚ.black ice! I set the car up in 4WD and set out to go to work. It really wasnât bad - I was surprised given hiking last night was almost like ice skating!
Once at work, I set out to get my tasks done. All day long it snowed! However, in town, it was really difficult to determine whether or not it was sticking and if so, what the accumulations were. Once I got out of work, in town, it appeared to have just accumulated to about an inch, with the streets being clear. It wasnât until I got up towards my house that the clear roads became slushy. Once I turned on my road, I kind of gunned it up the hill as I had not put the car in 4WD, and the hill is known for not allowing you access during snow. My car does remarkably well whether in front wheel drive or 4WD. My hatâs off to Suzuki and the SX4 Crossover!
It was really coming down, and @silvetop had been out on the roads on foot and suggested we leave hiking to another night. Have I ever mentioned my middle name is NOT Grace? Falling is not something Iâm into, so I agreed. I was tired and feeling a bit achy (weather related I suspect) and disnât particularly want to freeze at that moment, so it didnât take much to talk me into forgoing the hike.
My drive home tonight from work.
I spent the evening pacing the house while watching Netflix, so it passed fairly quickly and I attained the10,000 mark, which was my goal. Itâs still snowing as I type, but I donât really think we will get a lot of it. Might be just a smidge too warm.
