My Actifit Report Card: February 10 2020

We had plans to get up and roast coffee for some folks and then meet up with Jan. However the day dawned so beautifully sunny, that I called Jan and said let’s hike earlier than we planned. I know they weren’t calling for rain today, but after so long a stretch of nothing but, I was afraid we’d end up with rain in the afternoon so I was going to take advantage of that sunshine while I could!😎

The hike was gorgeous but chilly. We even got to stop up at Towhee Ridge and enjoy the break. On the way up, our neighbors stopped as they were headed out to tell us they had seen crossing in front of their car, two Sasquatches and to be on the lookout for them. We all 3 thought they were going to say two cougars as the deer head was on our minds. Obviously they were joking and it made for a good laugh 😂

As I was getting ready to roast coffee, I happened to notice the sky out the windows in the loft. I quickly ran up the ladder to capture this evening sky.

I then spent the evening roasting 7 pounds of coffee; 6 for two customers and one for a gift.

Soon it will be time for bed so that’s gonna be it for now.
