My Moody, Busy, Scattered 9 21 2019
I have been having issues with sleep lately and I think it is making me moody. A few things have combined to make me wake at 3:30am 4 nights in a row. I am the type that when my mind switches on, I am awake. I don't like this change in my time, it's frustrating.
I finished the deck, the 2x6s got installed so the 2ft gap between joists is now 1ft. The decking appreciates it and looks much better.
I found this moth in my tool shed. Super chill and huge pupils. I think is was trippin...
I swept the chimney and emptied out the bottom catch. Pretty hefty amount of buildup had fallen the past few years of no use. Monday I will fire up the fireplace to burn off the collected stuff and them I will clean it out when cool.
Oh, I went to town first thing this morning and got grain. The sheep are sooooooo happy.
My tool shed has become a shit hole so I did a cursory cleaning to make things more accessible. I will be going though a solid rearrange this winter.
I tore into my snowblower. It is in partial pieces while I await the new sprocket. Super pain in the ass but...

Awesome count on your steps! There is always so much stuff to do for winter prep and it sounds like you've got a lot on your plate. Up until recently, I had problems sleeping at night and woke up about the same time you are. I ended up trying melatonin. I found a brand that was cherry flavored and chewable, and I would take only a 'pinch' as I am very susceptible to it. If I took the whole tablet, I might be down for the count for 24-48 hours! Anyway, give it a try and see how it affects you. Have a good night!
My wife takes melatonin and we have a bunch in the house. I am usually hesitant to take it as I want to still wake up early, just not THIS early. Today I am going climbing so should have myself sufficiently wore out that I hope to sleep better tonight.
