A lapsed vegetarian & Phoenix’s speech 🐄 🥛

Free fruit at the office 🍌 🍎

I listened to Phoenix’s powerful Oscar speech in which he spoke of artificially inseminated cows who have their calves removed so they can be milked for human consumption and it has stayed on my mind all day🥛

I was a vegetarian on and off from my teens until I was pregnant with my first child. Anaemia and working life meant that I slowly started to eat fish and meat again 🐟

It is hard to feed ourselves and our children a balanced vegan or even vegetarian diet when we are balancing jobs, school and home life 🏡

Still, it has given me food for thought. We do eat very little meat at home as my husband is a pescatarian for moral reasons. Cutting back on meat and dairy is a start 👩🏻‍💻💭
