The run 🏃♂️
Today I have decided to give it a go and attempt a 24 km run on the beach 🏖. I was motivated and decided to spend at most 4 hours on it.
I have started and did 5 min pace (per 1 km) which to start was ok. Then after feeling great, decided to increase the speed up to the 4 min/km.
Then, a few seconds after I spotted some pain in my feet 🦶... but decided to ignore.
Another kilometre later, the pain intensified and I decided to stop running and walk to see if it was default or defect.
The pain kept increasing and I stoped to inspect...
I had two big bubbles forming on each feet and the rest partially red like they were rubbed with some sandpaper.
It was so sharp that my feet couldn’t stand. Around 6 km I decided to return back to where I started and oh boy...
It was excruciating 😖 the pain of those last 4 km. Even walking on cold sea water was not enough to make the pain go away.
Morale of the story... my heart is still doing it’s job... but I need to think about feeling indestructible about other nature hazards.
Still hurts while walking but it was worth the challenge attempt.
