My Actifit Report Card: September 3 2019

Got half my steps at the office today and the other half walking my neighborhood. As I’ve probably mentioned an annoying number of times, my neighborhood — which is a dead-end loop — is exactly 1,000 steps around. So I came home having walked 5,000 steps around my office building throughout the day, and I therefore had to walk around the loop 5 times to hit my 10k goal.

Today is #TreeTuesday, so let’s see what I have to share on that front! it was getting dark tonight when I walked so I only maned one decent picture in that fading light, which I will save to last.

This one is from the trail near my office, on a recent day when my husband and daughter came to walk with me at the end of the day. I love this bridge, but more importantly I love how the brilliant green trees seem to lean inward to form a canopy over the trail.

The next one is from the park where I walk my dog. Again, that canopy overhead makes a trail walk so pleasant!

This one is simple a collection of cumulus clouds over the tall pines in my neighborhood.
