In reply to the photos through the window, I think the mono helps alleviate any distractions from reflections that the color one has.
And the shorter days are annoying. Get to work in the dark. Leave work in the dark. I much prefer to have sunlight, at least after work.

Ohh yes i am the same I get ftustrated with the short days, I get my walks in the mornings so thats what is more frustrating for me
