Today was meant to be a rest day, to recover from the bug.
The nose has slowed down from a marathon to a walkathon and the cough has evolved from the irritating dry one to chesty cough with thick yucky mucus (sorry for the unpleasant description 😖).

I have not caught the bug for maybe 2 years now. That, to me, is quite an achievement. Through positive thinking, I am taking this as a way for my body to update and upgrade its immune system to defend against more hardy viruses. There were times when I felt the bug was coming but each time, I would pump in vitamins and what I think is super food. I would like to think that was why I was able stay away from the bug until now.

Super food is interesting because according to Wikipedia, it is said to be a marketing term and The term is not commonly used by experts, dietitians and nutrition scientists, many of whom dispute that particular foods have the health benefits claimed by their advocates.

Have we all been suckered into buying them at higher prices with hopes that they are good for us 😱? But you know what, the food that has been categorized as super food are generally good for us, in moderation of course, mostly because they are contain a high volume of minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants. There are so many lists out there, mostly seeds and nuts, berries, leafy veges, legumes, selected fruits, some say salmon, eggs. As long as we eat in moderation the good stuffs, we should be good.

After breakfast and a good dose of "My Kitchen Rules" on my Ipad, my nagging brain kept telling me to move and mop the floor. And that was what I did. I mopped and mopped around the house, every room and finally when that was all done, I decided to do the laundry too. In between the mop, I had to dash to the loo each time when I needed to cough out the thick mucus.

Now, I can truly rest after the chores are done because my brain is no longer nagging 😊.

Saludos. Le recomiendo que tome infusiones de hojas verdes. Estas hojas contienen en general, fitoelementos. Estos, estimulan la protección celular en nuestro organismo. Favorecen o estimulan el sistema inmunológico. En verdad, a manera de experiencia personal, yo tomo infusiones en las tardes, de las hojas de algunas de mis plantas. Romero, la flor de la bugambilia, la hoja de citronela y una planta que es la sanguinaria. Abrazos.

Es en infusión. Hervir una tacita de agua, retiras del fuego, colocas unas hojitas, dependiendo del tamaño y de cual hoja. Tapas tu tacita. La dejas de 10 a 15 minutos. Le retiras las hojas. Agregas azúcar, miel o tomar así. Y verás como se siente su cuerpo, con el hábito de las infusiones.
