The Egmonster - Half Marathon in Stormy Conditions

Yesterday was finally the day of the Half Marathon. It was on the beach with 6bft strength winds. Gusts of up-to 40 knots head on for the first 7 kilometers on the beach. Fully exposed 🤘

That was rough. Soon after we turned around in to the dunes where the wind was mostly from the back a d the terrain was a bit easier.

All in all a great run and I’m happy with my 1:48 time. Although 4 minutes slower than last year, it was great. Mostly the wind was to blame I guess 🤷‍♂️

Now up to the half Marathon in the Hague in 2 months 💪💪
