Biblical Magi and back to actifit
As I said in my previous post, I am coming back to Actifit this year to try to reduce my weight and also to retake my Steemit activity.
According to the catholic tradition, in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries Christmas ends with the celebration of Reyes Magos, based on the Bible myth of the biblical Magi. During the afternoon of 5 January, cavalcades (cabalgatas) ride through the streets, where the three kings and pages throw candies from their carriages to children. The three kings lay gifts for the childrens on the night from 5 to 6 january. This celebration has surpassed his religion origin and it is also celebrated by many non-catholic persons (like my family)
The typical dessert for this celebration is the roscón de reyes, a ring-shaped sponge cake with candied fruits on the surface and filled with cream.
