Well it’s hiking time finally!!🤗
A sprinkle in the beginning of today’s hike and then sun, well Sun Northwest style!!!😊
That’s ok with me, I was joined by the Mrs and our friend Jan, and we got to do the full long Mountain hike...so nice!!!🤗
Take a look at photo number four, this is the first sign of Spring... sort of!
This is Skunk Cabbage, it will push itself up through snow, and this is the first one coming up this year!!
In full bloom it smells stinky, but this time of year it will make you smile!😊
Then it was a day shopping with the Mrs, time to restock on supplies!😊
Such a nice @actifit day, can I have another tomorrow!!!🤗😊

Oh I remember skunk cabbage from when I lived in the Pacific Northwest. In fact my mom used to have an expression. You weren’t supposed to ask what was for dinner; it was considered rude since you were just supposed to eat whatever was put in front of you. So if we did ask she would answer “skunk cabbage stew!”
I have been told that it is edible, but how do you get past the smell LOL!!😇

Are you banned from the #getinshapechallenge because the actifit affiliated status? I always hated how the institution barred 'staff' from participating in things as a "conflict of interest".... It's assuming corruption and shady business is going on, but funny thing, it's going to go on anyways, so it's just..... NVM I'm ranting. Hahaha. Love the photos of Washington, I should try to get up there to visit friends and family again soon. Tacoma area ^>^
