Autumn/Fall Decorations

I had a plan today for my walks in the city toi look for some fall decoration and get some shots both with my phone and camera for tonight and other posts, but my stomach didn't like something I had yesterday it seems so I ended up taking a sick day and was at home all-day but I did manage to still get in just over 5K steps so can still do an actifit post tonight, but no phone photos today, but I will share some shots of fall decorations I got the other day on a walk.
I am kind of glad to be indoors at home hearing the wind blowing outside here I can only imagine what it must be like in the city the streets can act as wind tunnels some days.
I just saw a weather alert saying there is a lot of power outages through New England, and the storm which they are calling a Bomb Cyclone is parked over Southern New England with air pressure similar to a Category 2 Hurricane, but that said it's windy but nothing like a hurricane at least here anyway.

But as I often to I digress and now onto the photos of one fall Display I saw the other day in the gardens of a residential building and starting with one of the Scarecrows

And another one of the scarecrows, arent they almost too cute to be called scarecrows

Well, what is this scarecrow? These are cute and funny creatures :-))

someone said these should not be called scarecrows as they are to cute they should be called haykids and I like that name LOL

Cheers and !BEER

I have not translated the word "highkids". What does it mean?
Thanks for the beer!

ITs a word someone made up since the scarecrows look like kids and are cute lOL

Hey @bambuka, here is a little bit of BEER for you. Enjoy it!

Those are some cool looking scarecrows. My question is has bomb cyclone always been a thing or is it just a new term they recently came up with. I don't ever remember hearing the term bomb cyclone when I was a kid. Now the past two years I hear it every other month!

I thought the same and did look it up, they came up with the term in 1980 I think and her eis what it means
Bomb cyclone is a term given to a rapidly strengthening storm that fulfills one important criterion.
• Generally, pressure must drop 24 millibars (a unit of pressure) within 24 hours.

I think they just like making drama and getting viewers to be honest

Hello, it's windy here, they call it the chestnut wind since he throws the chestnuts out of the tree.
The scarecrows are very pretty and cheerful.
But you're right, nothing competes with the strawberry scarecrows of @papilloncharity
They are truly works of art and I would not mind walking through that field, well for yours neither haha

Isnt his post so dang good I loved it :)

Have a great weekend

Sincerely with that outfit they will not scare anything on the contrary, they are striking for their colors and very attractive.

I have seen the activity of @papilloncharity and it seems very humanitarian.

It is always good to have a few hours of rest even if it is due to some discomfort, I think our body is wise.

You feel better.

Yes I think there to cute to be called scarecrows ;)
Yes we have to listen to our bodies sometimes

Have a happy rest and a start to the weekend.

Thanks its pretty cool out just above freezing point debating whether to go for a morning walk

Lol just imagining it seems attractive to me;) I think that just by showing my nose it would freeze me, I hope I can enjoy something that the lens of your camera can offer, I also feed myself by my sight;)

Thanks for your visit and I did end up going out for a walk, didn't take too many photos but was nice to get some fresh air :)

I prefer a cool climate for a walk.

I do as well but not to cool LOL

I hope your weekend went well :)

This is so sweet! I love the scarecrows, pumpkins and beautiful fall colors :) Great shots @tattoodjay! Enjoy your weekend!

Thanks I do love them as well and 4 Rugby games ot watch this weekend so its going to be a good one for me you to have a good weekend

Hahaha, these "scarecrows" of yours look so good JJ, that they would not scare a turkey away Lol
Thank you for the kind mention and the promotion my friend.
I couldn't make it here because of the power cuts over here.
Hope that your stomach is much better now!

I think they are more likely to draw things in rather than scare anything away LOL
Yes my stomachis almost back to normal thankfully ;)

Cheers and !BEER

Glad to hear that and they put funny stuff in food nowadays.
Those dolls are indeed cute.
Thank you for the gift JJ.

Ohh yes with my wifes condition, I am now very good and checking the ingredients list whenever i go shopping and its shocking seeing what goes in food these days

Good that you keep an eye on the ingredients. We try to stick to fresh raw stuff that we steam or grill.
One has to to take care, especially in your wife's case.

Yes thats what we do as well and apart from when I am inthe city at work everything we have is freshly cooked by us

Hey @papilloncharity, here is a little bit of BEER for you. Enjoy it!
