My Actifit Report Card: January 31 2020 Another dull cool day

Another dull cool day

Another dull grey day in the city with clouds overhead most of the day blocking out the sun, the temp actually rose to 45F which is not to bad but it just felt cold for me most of the day, when I got into the city it was just below freezing and I just could not motivate myself for a morning walk before work, but I did have to go a few buildings today to chase up some papers I need, so got in a reasonable amount of steps with the back and forth walks.

Let me start the post with a photo from a nice day back near the end of Autumn, the sun was shining and some nice colors around

As I said above most of todays walking was Etienne offices trying to chase up some paperwork I needed, so I wasn’t really out for a photowalk as such but I did snap a few shots one one of my walks

The Link Terminals which Ofer Free WiFi around Manhattan also display various things on them, the weather Subway and train schedules, advertisements, art and fats of the day as i show in this first shot.

NOw in the city most of the Christmas displays and decorations are now down, but there is the odd bit still lingering here and there such as this piece in the Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, now it may have bene put up for Christmas but i think we need more Joy Loe and Peace in the world all year round.

Now this next shot may also be Christmassy, but its also a way that in some of the places they have flowers during the warmer month they make the spot look better than just plain earth or dead plants with some pine branches and pinecones

It really was a pretty miserable day today, wasn't it? Glad to see that you got your steps in, nevertheless! I love the tiny little reminders of the holiday tucked in here and there.

It is always fun when it comes to a surprise like this!

I just looked at the 10 day forecast, and were going back up tot he 50s on Monday for a few days this has been a weird winter

I wish we had the 50s for the weekend, looks like a rainy weekend, but I am off on Tuesday for the Medical for the application so hopefully will get out for some photos that day :)

Nice step count! It has been a struggle for me to top 10k steps lately. Sadly the days that I exercise seem to be giving me less of step count than the days I don't. I know it is still physical activity so I shouldn't worry, but still. Nice photos!

Thanks I have bene on and off with my step count of recent today I wil try and hit 10K

And yes exercise is good whether it counts for steps or not
