With all the musicians, actors and comedians I know, I am toying with the idea of creation of an agency. With what I have learned over the years and recently about marketing and sales, could be fun. Might have some work for you if I open that can of worms and you are going to freelance that.
Sounds interesting — I'm sure you know what you're doing wayyy more than I do, but my foray in social media brought in millions of views — HOWEVER — my audience is one that neither cares about my content or engages, so conversions are literally next to zero!
Painful lesson and six years wasted. Next time I set up a Youtube channel, I'll have a much better plan in place... Screw the perfectionism and bust out regular content!! Yikes...
Yah I am studying and we are experimenting on best practices there. Trends are leading to more engagement as people invest more into social media and pump more information into databases by way of internet behaviour.
You do have to have amazing content but it doesn't have to be your own. Plus there are ways of looking at what people are doing and simply do it a little bit better. We should continue this conversation and take over the world.....or at least a small chunk of it.
I'm thinking voice content with very light graphics/imagery wins the day over complicated but rare content... Took me too long to realize that though.
