The Liverpool club continued their impressive run, beating Leicester City by 2–1 in the eighth round of the English Premier League (EPL). Midfielder James Miller scored the winning goal for the host team in injury time (95th minute).

This season Liverpool have their 8th consecutive win, while the Premier League has the 17th consecutive win. The record for the most consecutive wins in the league is for Manchester United for 18 wins, which they created in August 2016. After that Liverpool is now on top of the leaderboards table with 24 points. While Leicester is in fourth place with 14 points. It's way too early to say it's over (Wijnaldum said as much earlier), but a win like this is the kind of win Title Winning Teams get. A 1 goal game that was stolen late. I feel like every team who has won the EPL knew how to do this somehow, someway. And Leicester could very well be a top 4 outfit themselves.
