Mar. 6, 21: AutomaticWin, Quick Nap, Movies, and Games

Slept until five this morning, which was a bit better, but having gone to bed relatively late last night, I ended up two and a half hours short again; and, once again, I couldn’t help but collapse in the afternoon. 😡 Luckily, it wasn’t too long.

Did the usual morning stuff. Still nothing really happening in the crypto markets...we had a downspike, but the volumes just continue to fall off a cliff. I’m missing out on plenty of volitility between $45k and $50k, but I’m afraid of that sudden volume surge coming in and leaving me in the dust...just continue to HODL, I suppose.

Been worrying and trying to figure out what to do about those BTC I found in my mining wallet for the past few days...definitely a good problem to have, though. 😁🤑 I finally decided to move it into a wallet where I control the keys rather than to an exchange (I can always send them later - minus the fee) and after much debating with myself, set the threshold equal to my balance. It worked and I got every Satoshi out!!! 👍😄😃 Now that they’re in my grubby little hands, I can finally say that computer purchase paid for itself. 🤑

We took the dog for a solid walk down to the lake and back. For the third day in a row I scored a #AutomaticWin! My ActiFit exchange was due today, so I properly posted it official in the afternoon.

Still very nippy out, and the wind off the lake made it worse, but at least it’s sort of warming up, snow’s nearly gone.

Bright and sunny skies again today. Nice to get out and get some sunshine, oblique though it still may be.

This little guy took “Bloom where you’re planted” to an extreme! 😛 Not often you see a pine tree in the middle of a lake. 😂

Still mostly frozen over, but there’s a few spots opening up now. We saw a couple of brown lumps sitting on the ice, but after watching them for a while, we realized they were alive...turns out they were muskrats ice fishing! They were sitting there by the edge, then diving in, swimming under the ice, and coming back up out of another hole!

After we got back, I did my post and stuff, had a sandwich and then laid down to watch some TV. I didn’t last long, though. As I said, luckily, just a short catnap and I didn’t even miss the hour’s worth of movement (only slept like half an hour or so). Was enough to give me a bit of a second wind, though.

Did a little bit of work on my game...consistently writing everything down, so that’s helpful, but just trying to iron out details and catch things I thought about but forgot, worked out a system for card IDs so that they are actually meaningful and not just some random string generated by a database.

Otherwise, not too much else going on for the day. We watched the new Coming 2 America. It was pretty funny, but the girl-power message that was pounded down my throat made me gag a bit. Change the traditional rules to make the ass-kicking girl the queen when a grown man is just a puss. 😡

I may not be the manliest man, but if it was my responsibility to protect the kingdom from an invading general, I’d sack up and not leave it to a teenage chick.

We also watched Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting, again girl-power, and about as dumb as you’d expect, but we’ve basically watched everything worth watching!

We made some homemade pizza for dinner, which was super yummy 😋 and then I fell asleep again in front of the television at like toddler time. All-in-all not the most productive day, but pretty good nonetheless...got some Bitcoin and chilled, first-world problems, right? 😜

Truly unbelievable! Another day without a crisis or any robberies in my dCity. 🥳 I’m not complaining, that’s for sure...unless it’s about the taxes that continue to be stupid high.

Got all my Holybread tasks done for today! 🤩 Just about time to renew my potions and repair my items, but I should have plenty of gold to do it, but maybe not for too many stats, we’ll see.

Couldn’t get back up again, but still holding on to the top ten! 💪

It’s finally weekend again and so I got a water on CryptoBrewmaster. Got a lager started brewing, but haven’t sold it out yet. Got another water started as well, so need to stay on top of it; will have some changes tomorrow.

I suppose now that it’s getting to be a week or less left in the Splinterlands season, the fire is starting to heat up a little. Still, not hot enough to switch out of rage-quit mode.
