NCAA Mens Hoops 1/28/2020 Recap

As I mentioned yesterday, only two top 25 games were played last night. It doesn't look like there were any huge upsets last night in top 25 play. I am a little surprised that the scores were not closer actually. Iowa took care of Wisconsin at home by a margin of six points. I am guessing it might have went the other way if they had been playing at Wisconsin.

The result of the Kansas game is also surprising to me. I really thought this one would be closer. Especially since Oklahoma State was the home team. Is it possible that Kansas is actually a better team with De Sousa being suspended? I guess it makes sense with all of the controversy that has surrounded De Sousa, even before the big fight.

I am not sure what year of college he is in, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is starting to look at different programs. It is possible he may never play at Kansas again. If they have a three strikes rule he is one outburst away from hitting the bricks.

A bit more action happening tonight with six top 25 games being played. None of them look like potential blowouts based on the records. If you had to pick one game to watch, I would probably focus on the Butler/Georgetown game. Florida State/Virginia also has the potential to be something special.

If Purdue were playing at home, I would say definitely watch that one, but since the Scarlet Knights are home, I would put my money on Rutgers.
