Hawks lose Collins to ankle injury in loss against Suns

Atlanta Hawks suffered two loses in one night as they lost to Phoenix Suns 117-110 in an encounter that proved a tough match up.

Apart from the loss to Suns, Hawks unfortunately lost 23 year old John Collins to injury in the first half of the game.

The incident occured in the second quarter when Collins tried to block Deandre Ayton's shot, on landing he badly twisted his left ankle against Clint Capela's foot.

Collins injury has been confirmed to be an ankle sprain which could see sit out for quite some time on the sidelines.

The American attempted to play the rest of the game with the sprain but was withdrawn before second half has he was not cleared to play after further examination was carried out.
