2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup tipping contest #2
Hi there my Steemian friends and followers!
The outstanding run of our (Czech) national team at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup is continuing (after we destroyed Brazil 93:71 in the round of 16) and so is my tipping contest that is coming with the second round today (I am sorry but I have to miss out on my regular Sunday Golden Hour series this time).

But let me start out with the results from the first round: (winners are in bold)
New Zealand - Japan (111:81)
Australia - Dominican Republic (82:76)
Canada - Jordan (126:71)
Brazil - Czech Republic (71:93)
Turkey - Montenegro (79:74)
France - Lithuania (78:75)
Germany - Senegal (89:78)
USA - Greece (69:53)
Even though the first round of the contest was a bit of short notice, the response from you guys was pretty good and we even had several participants who had 7 out of those 8 tips correct so let´s hope someone will be able to get them all this time :)
In this round, you are supposed to submit your tips on these 8 games:
Japan - Montenegro
Dominican Republic - Lithuania
Jordan - Senegal
Czech Republic - Greece
Turkey - New Zealand
France - Australia
Germany - Canada
USA - Brazil
The rules remain same: just one entry per person, no editing. You are only supposed to guess which team will win, for example: Japan - Montenegro: Japan.
Those who will manage to have all 8 tips correct, will win my full upvote on their entries.
You can submit your tips from now until the start of the first game, which is tomorrow (Monday, September 9) at 9:30 A.M. Central European Time.

I know you are, I remember your NBA posts :) I wish your national team were at the World Cup too, it is really exciting to watch all those games and we are very proud of our boys, they are the biggest surprise of the tournament :) Btw, feel free to submit your tips :)

:D...Actually, I watched the game with one eye! I was confused at first, when Greece were desperately trying to score in the end even though they were winning! :D
Haha, totally understand your confusion :) To qualify for the quarter finals, Greece would have had to win by at least 12 points ;) But they won only by 7 so we eliminated them.
Yeah, I noticed it after a while! :)....Hopefully you win in the quarter finals!
Thanks, I hope too but Australia is a huuuge favorite :D They even beat the USA in a friendly game before the tournament.
