My 2020 @actifit goal for better fitness and health!

For the last two years I have set myself an annual mileage target. In 2018 I set myself the goal of 5000 km with my two main activities walking and cycling, which I have also achieved.

In 2019 I wanted to achieve 6000 km at the end of the year, but I didn't reach it. The reason was that I discovered running for me at the beginning of June 2019 and therefore cycling became less important.

I will therefore not set an annual mileage target for 2020, as I cannot predict how my running, cycling and walking activities will develop.

My focus will definitely be more on running and therefore I would like to set myself a target in this respect.

My best time for a 5 km run is currently 6:19 min/km, which is 31 minutes 34 seconds for this distance. This may be acceptable for a beginner like me and also in my age group, but I would like to achieve a stable pace of 6:00 min/km or below this year, also for the 10 km distance. I know that I can do that, but it will still mean some intensive training.

Further goals are:

  1. To participate in at least two public 10 km races
  2. Several training runs over about 20 km to get used to the half marathon distance.
  3. Regular 5K Parkruns every week

I am slowly getting used to higher physical load and don't want to overburden myself in my enthusiasm for running. After all, I want to remain injury-free in the future.

Mein 2020 @actifit Ziel für eine bessere Fitness und Gesundheit!

Die letzten beiden Jahre habe ich mir jeweils ein Jahres-Kilometerziel gesetzt. 2018 setzte ich mir das Ziel mit 5000 km mit Walking und Radfahren, ein Ziel, das ich auch erreicht habe.

2019 wollte ich am Ende des Jahres 6000 km erreichen, was ich aber nicht erreichte. Der Grund war, dass ich Anfang Juni 2019 das Laufen für mich entdeckt habe und deshalb das Radfahren in den Hintergrund getreten ist.

Ich werde deshalb für 2020 keine Jahres-Kilometerleistung als Ziel setzen, da ich nicht voraussehen kann, wie sich meine Bereiche Laufen, Radfahren und Walking entwickeln werden.

Mein Fokus wird auf jeden Fall mehr auf dem Laufen sein und deshalb möchte ich mir diesbezüglich auch ein Ziel setzen.

Meine Bestzeit für einen 5 km Lauf ist derzeit 6:19 Min./km, also 31 Minuten 34 Sekunden für diese Strecke. Das mag für einen Anfänger wie mich und auch in meiner Altersklasse akzeptabel sein, aber ich möchte gerne in diesem Jahr ein stabiles Tempo von 6:00 Min./km. bzw. darunter erreichen und zwar auch für die 10 km Distanz. Ich weiß, dass ich das schaffen kann, es wird allerdings noch einiges an intensivem Training bedeuten.

Weitere Ziele sind:

  1. Teilnahme an mindestens zwei öffentlichen 10 km Wettrennen
  2. Mehrer Trainingsläufe über ca. 20 km um mich an die Halbmarathon-Distanz zu gewöhnen.
  3. Regelmäßige Teilnahme an den wöchentlichen Münchner 5K Parkrun-Events

Ich taste mich langsam an höhere Belastungen ran und möchte mich nicht in meiner Begeisterung für das Laufen überfordern. Schließlich möchte ich - wie bisher - auch in Zukunft verletzungsfrei bleiben.
