Snowdrop, are you there yet?
Is spring so close?
Who lured you out into the light?

They have been around here in my area for about 14 days now: snowdrops, besides the witch hazel also an unmistakable messenger of spring.
I had to think of the above poem by the famous Austrian writer Hugo von Hofmannsthal when I took some photos of this beautiful plant these days.
Schneeglöckchen
Schneeglöckchen, ei, bist du schon da?
Ist denn der Frühling schon so nah?
Wer lockte dich hervor ans Licht?

Wohl gut er's eben heute meint,

Es gibt sie schon seit ca. 14 Tagen hier in meiner Gegend: die niedlichen Schneeglöckchen, neben dem Hamamelis auch ein untrüglicher Frühlingsbote.
An das obige Gedicht vom berühmten österreichischen Schriftsteller Hugo von Hofmannsthal musste ich denken, als ich diese Tage ein paar Fotos dieser wunderschönen Pflanze machte.
