Bozzlife: Fantasy Football Recap Week 2

Another week, another helping of defeat. That's right, believe it or not, I was crushed once again by one of my in-laws. I really thought I had a chance this week but such is the case quite frequently in fantasy football, the key to my victory was sitting on my bench.

As you can see, I was originally projected to win this match-up. Going into Monday night, I had a slight lead and I still had Le'Veon Bell yet to play. My brother in law had two players left. Unfortunately, one of his players was Odell Beckham Jr. and his 22.10 points for the game were just too much for me to overcome.

Take a look at the image above, I left a whopping 76 points sitting on my bench with almost twenty nine of them belonging to the Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. I really hate the Cowboys and I tried to give Wentz a chance, but I think moving forward playing Dak is going to be a no brainer (except maybe next week).

Take a look at his quarter back. I had Mahomes last year and I really wanted to get him again this year. He was basically the bread and butter of my team last year and even though I finished last I was still happy to have him on my team.

My wide receivers still suck... There is no getting around that. I just know that next week if I move things around, the players that were doing horrible and go moved to the bench will have a fantastic game. That's just the way fantasy football works for me.

My running backs did decent. More points from Bell would have been nice, but what can you do I guess. Carson is about the only one I would consider sending to the bench for next game (or not, keep reading for more details).

My tight end Kelce did about what I expected him to. He has always been a great player and in any game he has the potential to score a lot of points.

My Dilema

Here is my issue going into next week...

My opponent is none other than the beautiful @mrsbozz, who I might add currently has one of four undefeated teams in the league.

So what do I do? Do I play my best team and try to get my first win? Or do I purposely play some of my weaker players trying to ensure that she gets a win and stays undefeated? If I didn't mention, the prize for the winner is a fifth of her favorite alcohol from each of the losers.

Since I also drink Captain Morgan, it wouldn't really be a loss for me in the grand scheme of things...

What do you think fellow Steemians? Do I play hard against @mrsbozz and may the best Steemian win, or do I try to throw it to pad her record?

Now first off sorry for your defeat, but onto your dilemma I tend to say always play to win but for the chance of helping Mrs Bozz both win but also to drink the prize, I think this is a case of play it easy and give her the win :)

I should have finished it off with a disclaimer

Never trust a dive from me

If i tried to way it for the other to win and keep a winning strea it would probably have the opposite effect and be the only game I win all season LOL

This is something I could never get into myself, but I do enjoy reading about it :P I did something similar, but with soccer, gave up after like a week :D

I heard that they have fantasy leagues for soccer. I don't understand how the scoring would work with something like that. I am sure they have a metric for everything though. The fantasy sports market has grown so huge in the past ten years, who would have guessed...
