Bozzlife: Week 3 Fantasy Football Blowout

I know, I know, if you read the title, you are probably saying to yourself, "but wait, there is another game tonight!" That is very true, but as you can see by the score above, it wouldn't really matter. I have zero players playing tonight and that means @mrsbozz has handily defeated me.

You might remember if you read this post, I was on the fence about whether I should throw the week and let her have the win to remain undefeated or actually go for it to get my first win.

After a nice talk with her on Thursday night, it was decided that I should go for the win because it is still early in the season and who knows what might happen down the road. A lot of good it did me... Although I played the players I thought I had the best chance with, I still lost.

What Went Wrong?

Prescott did better than Wentz on my bench, but he still didn't put up anywhere near the numbers he has the past two weeks. I might have to keep an eye on him moving forward. If defenses are starting to figure him out, playing Prescott might not be the no-brainer I had thought it was going to be.

Diggs continues to be a huge disappointment at wide receiver. I actually had the results of this week late last night and despite the fact that he is owned in 99% of the fantasy football leagues worldwide, I still made the decision to let him go. Minnesota has a big focus on the run game this year and that means players like Diggs aren't going to get as many touches.

Being three weeks into the season now, I don't have the time to see if he things are going to turn around. I currently have a waiver claim for Sterling Shepard from the New York Giants.

Kirk is another wide receiver I am going to have to keep an eye on moving forward. I need players that can put up numbers consistently each week if I am hoping to pull out a win this year.

Bell and Carson didn't put up the numbers I am used to at Running Back. I still think they are solid players and I don't have any plans of dropping either of them anytime soon.

Kelce once again showed why he is a solid keeper.

As you can see, @mrsbozz and I both left about the same number of points on our benches. Perhaps if Freeman had been in my lineup instead of Carson and Williams in place of Diggs, I might have stood a chance. As I said before though, hindsight is always 20/20 in fantasy football.

With only .6 points Ridley might soon be creating a vacant spot on my bench to fill with an alternative wide receiver. Hopefully there are still some good ones available if I decide to make that change in the future.

Looking at the current rankings, I am pretty sure I am going to be tied for last place going into week four. In reality, I will probably end up being last place just based on my total points for the season so far.

I am at the point where I am not proud to beg for help. What do you think I can do to pull out a win during week four? I look forward to any advice you can give me!

Yes, there are different companies that offer it from Yahoo to ESPN and Fox Sports. They all have a custom interface and app you can use. I used to participate in fantasy baseball, but it was just too much work. Fantasy football is about all I can handle now.

We have the same kind of game here but the with Formula 1 :) You manage the grid and the race results. When you got them right or are close you earn points. The highest point in the end of the season wins :)

I would stick with Prescot over Wentz in the near future. Dallas looks like the team to beat. I see their offense staying hot for the foreseeable future. You may also have to temper expectations for Diggs. Cousin doesn’t seem to be getting him involved. Better luck next week

I dropped Diggs. I don't have time to wait around to see if he is going to become something...
