❇️ I'M BACK TO WORKING OUT AFTER A MONTH OF PAIN!

Boom! I'm back at it again! After bustin' up my back last month, I've been kinda staying away from the gym to heal up. πŸš‘

It kinda sucks as I gained like 5 LBS (mostly fat) staying pretty inactive during that time but those days are behind me now.... I hope. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Look at all these puny weights I'm lifting! 30 LBS, WTH! πŸ˜…

I plan to get back in shape slowly and start lifting lighter weights so that I won't hurt myself again but it's all good. πŸ‹

It was very tempting to grab those 90 - 100 LBS dumbbells once again but I was like ummmm, maybe next time lol.

While most people are planning to get in shape on January 1st, 2020 for their new years resolutions, I asked myself why not just do it now and already be in shape on that day. πŸ’‘

Just a quick update on my fitness journey... by documenting all this on social media, it helps me to push myself harder and to keep going.

I don't want to look like a total failure in the public eye hahaha

One of the benefits of being out of the gym for a bit is getting the burn back though. Just gotta be careful not to hurt yourself!

I chase getting sore but it's difficult to find that balance of doing enough to gain and doing too much and hurting yourself πŸ˜”

I know what you mean, @stackin. It really is hard going back after being away for a bit. That happens to me every time I travel. I miss all the endorphin, mostly! Later today, I will be visiting a Krav Maga gym and observe if it is something I want to do.

I've been working out at home since I want to save money to buy more crypto, it just isn't the same thing as going to the gym, I need machines, I need more weight! I need that competitive feeling you get with other guys in the gym ... Oh well, at least I'm back to being active, I didn't workout for 3 months, lost so much muscle, now my whole body aches after a workout xD Love the feeling of sore muscles, only people that workout know what it's like

Yay! Congrats on returning to the gym. Since I have some physical limitations, I don't work out at the gym. But I will say, when I don't do yoga for awhile, I definitely feel the difference. Just that alone keeps me motivated to return to it.

Keep on crushing it & remember balance as well. Push yourself but also remember to take breaks as you build back up. Great to see you back.

Lol I admit I have been slacking a bit on the yoga myself. The leg injury recovery is so slow it's ridiculous. But no excuse for me...I will start tomorrow as well. Putting in my Sprouts grocery order as well so I will have healthier food in the house. πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ We can do it! πŸ™πŸ˜‰πŸ’ž
