This is definitely good news for the game of Cricket as Pakistan will be playing her first home Test with Sri Lanka since 2009.

Pakistan announced a two-match series against Sri Lanka in December 2019 after a 10-year hiatus.
Recall that, there has not been a Test in Pakistan since the **Sri Lanka team bus was attacked in Lahore 10 years ago. The incident left Six Pakistani policemen and two civilians dead and a number of the Sri Lanka team seriously wounded.
This development will prove to the world that Pakistan is indeed safe for all to live, play and work in.
The Test will consist of two matches (which will also form the World Championship) with the first Test to be held in Rawalpindi from 11-15 December, while the second will be in Karachi from 19-23 December.

My Thoughts.

This is good news no doubt and it was a sad day in 2009 when the Sri Lankan team bus was attacked and those people had to die.
The world labeled that country as a place not safe for sporting activities and I am glad 10 years after, the label has been changed for the better.
It is hoped that with this development, there will be many more to come in the future and I say a big congratulations to Pakistan for making this happen.

Do you love Cricket?
Do you think 10-years was a good enough prize to pay for peace to return to the fields of okay?
