Purple cap in IPL !!!!!!!!!

Indian Premier League was started in 2008 and till now 12 editions has been played.

This year from March 24, 13th edition of IPl will be played.

Every year the bowler who gets maximum wickets, gets the purple cap and the batsman with highest runs gets the orange cap.

Here is the purple cap holders in each session of IPL :

So, bhubaneswar kumar has won the cap twice in the history, that's too in 2 consecutive sessions.

But Malinga, the star bowler of MI has the record of taking the highest no of wicket till now in IPL.

Malinga has 170 wickets, followed by amit mishra and Harbhajan Singh.

So here the pacer outperformed the spinner, but especially in IPL spinners have dominated the pacer in most of the cases as IPL is played in INDIA and in India the pitches suits spinners more.

So hopefully we will see a new name this time as the holder of purple cap !!!!!!!!
