Lille has not been playing good of recent as they did in the start of the season. They are currently on 3 game losing streak, and also fallen out of the Champions League position. Obviously, coach Christophe Galtier still have a lot of work to do if they want to hold a safe position like they did last season.

Therefore, playing Rennes at home in this round is a very good opportunity for Lille to claim all maximum point. Although, their opponent is ranked 3rd in the rankings, and also a victory is necessary for Pierre Mauroy's Rennes team to show their ambition, but it is likely that they will only get a draw.
