years ago i tried to transition to snowboarding and this was after being a skier for 15 years. I simply couldn't get used to having both my feet on the same board and went back to the skis on the very first day. I still envy the people that can pull it off though!

That is what I felt about ski, too.
After riding on snowboard two years, I gave it a try to stepping on skies. I simply couldn't do it. :)
Only two years made me that way.
