India's 15-year-old Shafali Verma has become the youngest Indian player to score half a century in an international cricket match.

He not only broke the record of leading batsman Sachin Tendulkar but also made the second half century the next day.

On Saturday, Shafali Verma scored 73 off 49 balls in the first match of the five-match Twenty20 series against the West Indies in St. Lucia.

The next day, he played an unbeaten 69 off 35 balls in the second match, which helped India win the match by 10 wickets.

15-year-old Shafali is already the youngest player to play T20 in India. He played his first match against South Africa in October and impressed everyone with 46 runs.
