Celtics reportedly sign Jaylen Brown to $115 million deal

The Boston Celtics typically do not sign rookies to extensions.

Jaylen Brown is proving the exception, getting a 4 year, $115 million extension.  This is the first rookie extension since Rajon Rondo in 2009.

The 22 year old got his money even though he had a disappointing season last year for the Celtics.  He saw his points per game drop to 13.

Boston is trying to stay relevant in the Eastern Conference where the Toronto Raptors marched last year to the title.
