LeBron James caps Kobe 'celebration' at Staples with stirring speech
Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers held a "celebration" for Kobe Bryant. The former Laker superstar was tragically killed in a helicopter crash Sunday morning.
The Lakers had a stunning video tribute for Bryant. Then, as the starting 5 was introduced, Lebron James took the floor. He read off the names of those killed in the crash and then trashed the rest of his written speech.
James gave a stirring, emotional speech about Bryant. Everyone in the Staples Center was on their feet.
