Rob Manfred has come under a lot of heat in his time as commissioner of Major League Baseball.  His latest decision is getting him in even more hot water.

Manfred took to the defense of his handling of the situation with the Houston Astros and the electronic sign stealing scandal.  He decided to fine the organization, took away draft picks, and bans the GM and manager for one year.  Also suffering consequences was Carlos Beltran and Alex Cora, both whom lost their jobs as managers of other teams.

Beltran was the only player in the scandal who was named; he is since retired.  No other players suffered any consequences.

This has many around baseball outraged.  Their is a belief among players that the Astros on the field should have also been disciplined.
