MLB playoffs: Astros advance to World Series to face Yankees

The Houston Astros had the right horse on Thursday night in their elimination game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Gerritt Cole has been great for the Astros this season.  He was the same in the playoff game, striking out 10 Rays, enabling Houston to win the series 3-2.

By moving on to the ALCS, the Astros face the Yankees.  Those were the two top wins leaders in the American League this season.
