NBA Offseason: Lakers reportedly interested in bringing back Dwight Howard

The Lakers were hoping that Demarcus Cousins to be a presence down low. Sadly, Cousins tore his ACL while training in Las Vegas. This leaves a hole in the Lakers roster.

There are reports the team is considering turning to a former friend in Dwight Howard to fill Cousins shoes. Howard left Orlando some years ago as one of the best big men in the game and joined the Lakers. While there was talk of repeating Shaq's exodus out of Orlando to Los Angeles and championships, it never materialized for Howard there.
