Warriors' Steve Kerr says Klay Thompson likely to miss season recovering from torn ACL

The Golden State Warriors are going to have a rough season.  After losing Kevin Durant to free agency, the team is not expected to have the services of Klay Thompson this year.

Coach Steve Kerr affirmed this outlook.  He said the ACL injury Thompson suffered in the playoffs means he is likely to miss the entire 2019/2020 season.  

This really puts a dent in the talent level of the Warriors.  They still have Curry but his supporting cast is a downgrade from what it was in the past.  They also have some competition from the Houston Rockets who paired James Harden with Russell Westbrook.
