Climate change is a serious issue as we saw the evident after effects after Amazon fires and Australian bush fires that are still going on. FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) and Formula 1 signed United Nations’ Sport for Climate Action Framework under which they will make multiple efforts to reduce the harmful effects of cars and automobiles emissions.

>“Last year Formula 1 launched its first-ever sustainability strategy recognising the important role that we must play in tackling climate change. The actions we will take in the years ahead will reduce our carbon footprint and ensure we are net zero carbon by 2030. We are delighted to join the UN’s efforts in this space and will be working closely with the FIA, teams and partners to ensure we deliver on our plans and implement meaningful change.”

Formula 1 previously announced that they already have plans to be Net Zero Carbon by 2030. This move will help them achieve this milestone. And at the same time help the environment as well. :))
