Sunday January 12 2020: Manchester City swept Aston Villa 6-1 in the match hosted by Villa Park Stadium on Sunday evening, in the 22nd round of the Premier League matches.
The Manchester City hexagonal was scored by Riyadh Mahrez (18 and 24), Sergio Aguero (28, 57 and 81) and Gabriel Jesus (45 + 1), while Aston Villa's only goal was scored by Anwar Al Ghazi (90 + 1).
With that result, Manchester City raised its score to 47 points, to rise to second place, while Aston Villa's balance stood at 21 points in 18th place.
