The Defence Stats that show why we are at the Top!
We were rather upset at Pontus Jannsen leaving but we needn't have worried as these stats from the first five games show and the reason we are sitting proudly at the top of the Championship!
We have conceded HALF as many goals as the next best team in the championship
We have kept clean sheets in the last 4 games, with goalkeeper Kiko Casilla up until last week, making the most passes than any other player!!!
What is really telling though is that we have restricted opposition teams in out 5 league matches to just an average of 7.4 shots per game, our rivals in second have allowed 14.6 shots.
With Ben White, we have found an excellent replacement for Pontus and he seems to have merged in seamlessly with Liam Cooper in the middle of the defence,
Dallas is finally becoming the player we hoped he could be when he signed 3 years ago and it's all looking rather rosy right now as we head towards the hated international break. Just Stoke at home in the cup tomorrow night and the 6 pointer against second-placed Swansea at home on Saturday and we can all take a breath for a couple of weeks.
Leeds being Leeds though, there is no doubt some drama to come!
