
This analysis is statistically flawed with the 'passes per defensive action' metric. For example, consider a bad team like Watford who is constantly defending and can't make passes forward, they will naturally have a lower score to suggest they are pressing. Probably would be best to limit defensive actions to the opponent's half or flat out stop using that ratio in preference for something based on time of winning ball or attempts in opposition half to in their own half.
