Ex-NASCAR owner Lonnie Troxell's body found in Ohio River

A passionate and well like ex-NASCAR team owner was found dead.

Lonnie Troxell was pulled from the Ohio River and pronounced dead at the scene.  Him and his wife had a home in the Louisville area and split time between there and Florida.

He was an outspoken critic about the present state of NASCAR. At any time, he was apt to take to Twitter to voice his concerns.

His team ownership was from 2000-2005.  After he left NASCAR, he was a respected builder who was known to take care of his employees.

Few details are available about the cause of death.
