Rockets hopeful NBA acts after James Harden dunk not counted

Officiating in professional sports is taking a beating.

The NBA is now on the radar after a missed call on a dunk ultimately led to the Rockets losing the game.

James Harden slammed the ball through on a breakaway.  The ball did pass through the rim although got caught up in the net which flipped it back on top of the rim.  This caused it to look like it did not go through.

The Houston Rocket coach was not allowed to challenge the call.  The Rockets lost to the Spurs in overtime.

The Rockets are hoping the NBA reverses the victory for the Spurs since the Rockets would have won in regulation.  If not, they hope the last 7:50 will be replayed.
